Hridoya Bangladesh representation at Bay Area Bangladesh Association (BABA) 2008

Event (Aug 23, 2008):  

Our goal was to take a booth in the mela to represent our organization. Shahed, Biplob, and Palash (both) designed a poster to distribute among the visitors to the booth. We introduced  the organization to the local community and received very positive responses. To raise fund, we have done the followings:

    1. Sell the newly designed T-shirts. There were several t-shirts designed for Siemens Caring Hands event at TTB, Berkeley. Siemens TTB provided matching fund for these t-shirts sold in the mela

    2. Sell Bangladeshi-style Thai soup (Prepared and donated by Faria Zafar)

    3. Sell home-made Mango lassi prepared from fresh mango (Prepared and donated by Faria Zafar)

    4. Sell Pizza for the kids       

Summary:

    1. Collected donation ~ $650

    2. T-shirts sold ~ 15

    3. Revenue from food  ~ $118

    4. Cost (Booth fee) ~$50.
