Help Students to Sit for the HSC Exam 2008

Goal

The primary objective of this initiative is to raise a fund for the financially challenged students (HSC'08 candidates) to help them covering up their HSC'08 examination registration (form fillup) expenses. For many parents/guardians, paying this fee is a huge burden which forces premature drop out of many talents. We believe that with a little support from all of us, we can atleast ensure that these students are not stuck at the very early stage of their careers.

We have identified (on process) a list of students through college teachers as listed bellow. Mamun Elahi, from Dhaka is collaborating this effort.

How It Works

Approximate cost per student has been identified as Tk. 1500. Detailed expenses chart will be published soon. Each student will be given an amount of Tk. 1,500 (on average $23) for paying their form fill up expenses. We send money to Annur Rahman who will distribute it from Dhaka and the teachers will deliver to each student.

How Can You Contribute

Interested person can donate any amount and the money will be saved in a fund from which students will receive their financial support.

Current Status

We have paid TK 1,000 to each student of the above list. In total Tk. 13,000 (US $191) is paid. This project is not running anymore.
