Help the family of Mr. Choles Ritchil

Goal: The goal of this drive is to help the family of Mr. Choles Ritchil who was murdered brutally in March 2007. Our little effort cannot remove the pain of his family but can make the lives of his children a bit easy. At least we can do this in addition to feeling sorry about his death.

Target: Sky is the limit. If everyone visited this site donates only $10 each, we can easily pass $18,000 mark.

How to donate: Please send money via Paypal (Don't need to sign up for a new account and takes credit card too) or send check to "Ahsan habib" at "10944 San Pablo Ave, Apt 232, El Cerrito, CA 94530, USA". Please send an email to donate@hridoyabangladesh.org after mailing us a check so that we can have an idea of the total amount.

How the money will be spent: Money will be given to the family of Mr. Choles Ritchil. A part will be accessible immediately and the rest will be kept as a fixed deposit to help the education of his kids. A detailed report is coming soon.

After consulting with Zafar Iqbal sir and Sanjeeb Drong, we have sent the money to the bank account of Sandhya Simsung. TK 3,00,000 will be kept as a fixed deposit for the education of the kids and the rest will be available for immediate use. A receipt from Sonali Exchange is posted here that shows the exact amount sent to Bangladesh.

Who we are: This drive is initiated by Farhad Hussain and the site is hosted by HridoyaBangladesh, a non-profit organization. With the help of Sultana Kamal, Prof. Muhammed Zafar Iqbal has set up a bank account for Sandhya Simsung (wife of Mr. Choles Ritchil) in Bangladesh. Ahsan Habib is collecting money. If anything goes wrong, Ahsan Habib takes full responsibility. We are getting support from a lot of kind hearted persons. We really appreciate your support.
